The battle of CPU's between AMD and intel is one that seems to have lasted a lifetime, and the best part is that its probably only just begun. There used to be a time when, if you were building a machine for gaming AMD would be the obvious choice, but now with the launch of intels core i7 processor, AMD are playing catch-up with intel who are storming at the minute. So which CPU do you choose? If you research the two you will find all different answers, some people wouldnt touch AMD and others swear its the only way to play. this just makes choosing more difficult, the more opinions you read the more confused you become on choosing the right one for you. In the end it comes down to personal preferance and your budget. Intel may have the fastest processors at the minute but they tend to be much more expensive than AMD.
